Global Institute of Management Studies (GIMS) is a premier institute in India engaged in interdisciplinary and multidisciplinary program in hospitality industry. It was founded by Maminul Akanda for providing an avenue for administrators, managers for interaction and exchange of information with notable academics in the area of hospitality sector. With these objectives, the institute conducts multi-level programmes with mentors & talented professionals. The institution, based in Kolkata in the state of West Bengal, started functioning on 3rd May-2010 with Maminul Akanda as its Founder Director.
GIMS strongly believe in making things simpler for its students. Since last several years, GIMS have been consistently proving its mettle in making its ambitious student’s dream come true. GIMS always upgraded to the latest innovative teaching methodology (instead of a conventional and traditional approach), training & placements and international exposure for its students. Today, GIMS can proudly boast of as the only management institute in Eastern India which has made Hotel and Hospitality Management courses affordable for the middle class as well as the lower middle class students with minimum fees structure for different courses and also guarantees all its students for national and international placements.
